Four inch wide, 10” long strips of pasta. For best texture and ease in handling: immerse raw lasagna in boiling water, stir immediately to keep separated and cook for only 1 minute. Drain and immerse in a bowl of cold water allowing it to cool to the touch for ease in “building” your lasagna dish. Baking the lasagna dish will complete the cooking process, resulting in a tender yet distinct pasta texture. Lasagna dishes typically have at least 3 and as many as 8 layers of pasta. Consider using Spinach Basil flavored lasagna for Italian style recipes and Green Chili Lime flavored lasagna for South of the Border type dishes. Flavored pasta constitutes additional depth of flavor to compliment featured ingredients.
